Pricing: Access + Value

Let's talk about pricing

Specifically, access and value

This topic has been on mind for the past few days, and honestly, it's been feeling a little heavy.

There are SO MANY philosophies on pricing.

  • Make sure your pricing plans are more expensive than pay-in-full

  • Price for high ticket

  • Charge what you're worth

  • If someone wants to work with you, they'll find the money

I've always looked at my pricing strategically, and based on a combination of 3 things:

  • My intuition

  • General knowledge of what others' charge for a similar service

  • What feels like an equal exchange of time, value/worth, and money

 Sounds smart, right?

It didn't hurt that for years I knew the rate the agencies I worked for, billed for my time.

Things changed during a conversation I had in 2021, specific to payment plans and  this question:

Why would you penalize someone because of cash flow?

That blew my mind, and I immediately stopped charging a premium on payment plans.

This weekend, I made another change.

I was chatting with a friend, another business owner, and I asked her if there was anything I could do to support her. She said, "Find me $1200 loose change so I can book one of your sessions? 🀣🀣🀣"

It really stuck with me.

Do I think REFINE is worth $1200? 100%.

It's probably more at the VIP Day level, tbh.

But, part of my mission is to help and support women on their #entrepreneurjourney.

And if amazing women who I believe in, like my friend, are having cash flow issues, does money trump that?

That would be "no."

I'm in a position where I can flex my pricing, so I'm doing just that.

For the month of February, I want to help any of you who are struggling with an offer, and don't have the cash flow for the full price of REFINE.

  • I've reduced the price almost 50%.

  • It can be split into payments.

  • And if that's still too high, message me. I can potentially flex some of the elements to meet price that works for you.

Because at the end of the day, I'd rather be helping someone than rolling around in my money like Scrooge McDuck ;)
