Authentic Marketing

Yesterday I was having a socially distanced happy hour with two of my dear friends, #bizbesties, and all around foundation for my #girlgang.

As we were talking, I was telling them how I’ve been struggling how to communicate the value of what I do.

I get stuck in three places.

  1. To me, marketing and it’s value are intrinsic - so it’s hard for me to know what other people know or don’t

  2. I have almost 20 years of experience across different types of clients, and their marketing needs. Which means I can troubleshoot and provide a solution for almost anything. It’s hard to come up with a catchy way of saying that….

  3. Which leads me to this one. I’m not a copy writer, and I’m not good at all the fluffy sales language. I do believe in copywriting, so I don’t discount the value of it. I just suck at i and I’m not going to make some random promise, just to get a sale.

Reason being: it’s not authentic to me, or my brand values.

What Angela, The Divine Group, and Kelly, Witt and Company, helped understand is that Authenticity is where I stand out when it comes to marketing. It’s a build on Aligned Marketing - the missing piece I didn’t know was missing :)

In the next few days/weeks, I’m going to share more about what this looks and how it can benefit you.
